Position Overview:
Weatherford is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to oversee the seamless movement of goods, services, and information from the point of origin to customer delivery. This role is essential in ensuring that customer expectations are met through effective coordination of inbound shipments and clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare essential shipping documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Shipper's Letters of Instruction, and Certificates of Origin.
  • Optimize shipping processes to ensure timely and efficient material dispatch, focusing on transportation planning, mode selection, and shipment tracking.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and service providers to facilitate both outbound and inbound international shipments.
  • Manage Import Clearance for inbound shipments, adhering to various Customs Regimes and internal protocols.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reporting on key performance indicators as identified by the Logistics Supervisor.
  • Implement best practices for the coordination of goods flow and logistics information across internal teams and external customers.
  • Provide pricing for equipment exports, particularly for out-of-gauge items, in accordance with Global Supply Chain Freight Contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Serve as a backup for the Logistics Supervisor or other Logistics Coordinators as needed.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all levels of staff, customers, and logistics service providers.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience in logistics.
  • A degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Certification from an accredited logistics program is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with UK Customs Regimes.
  • Proficient in standard applications such as MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Excel.
  • Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) or OTM (Oracle Transport Management) is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to make informed decisions independently.
