Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team at Percy Main Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our new Nurture Room provision for Early Years and KS1 children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning in the Early Years and KS1 classrooms
  • Work with children who require additional support and guidance
  • Develop and implement intervention programmes to support individual and small groups of children
  • Use ICT effectively to support learning and engagement
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
Requirements
  • Relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • High expectations when supporting teaching and learning
  • Experience working in Early Years and KS1
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
