Key Responsibilities of the Attendance Officer:

  • Oversee and record daily student attendance.
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and educational staff to resolve attendance-related challenges.
  • Develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing attendance rates.
  • Keep precise records of student attendance and punctuality.
  • Compile and present attendance data to senior management.
  • Coordinate with external organizations as needed to support student needs.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies and relevant legal standards.

Qualifications for the Attendance Officer:

  • Prior experience in a role as an Attendance Officer or a similar position.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • In-depth understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
  • Competence in utilizing attendance management software.

Note: This position necessitates a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must pass all necessary background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
