Job Overview
Step Teachers is collaborating with a Secondary School in Suffolk to find an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to instil passion in the school's students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain on task.
- Assisting with the development of educational resources.
- Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leaders.
Requirements:
- 6 months previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a UK school.
- A passion for education and a genuine interest in working with Secondary School students.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- The ability to adapt to various subjects and year groups.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- A relevant degree is desirable.
