Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team in Oxfordshire. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in driving the success of our client's projects, working closely with the commercial team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness in all projects
  • Collaborate with joint venture partners to build strong relationships
  • Excel in contract negotiation to optimize project profitability
  • Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members
  • Provide exceptional collaboration and communication skills
  • Manage multiple tasks and deliverables without compromising quality
  • Oversee and supervise junior team members
  • Provide commercial advice to the site team and management
  • Manage time and workloads for yourself and your team
About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor with a strong presence in the Oxfordshire area. Our client is looking for a long-term partner who can drive the success of their projects and contribute to the growth of their business.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including commercial units with a value of circa £30 million. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of these projects, working closely with the commercial team to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:
  • 5-10+ years of experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Experience in contract negotiation and commercial advice
