Valley Medical Centre is seeking a skilled Nursing Associate to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our Primary Care Network, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Support the delivery of patient care, including health promotion programs and clinical sessions.
- Carry out baseline observations, such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and temperature checks.
- Administer injections and facilitate ABPI.
- Conduct NHS Health Checks and phlebotomy services.
- Deliver clinical sessions for chronic disease management.
- Act as a chaperone as required and ensure specimens are recorded and ready for transportation.
- Maintain clinical rooms and ensure adequate stock and preparation for each session.
- Monitor and clean fridges, and remove clinical waste in accordance with our IPC policy.
- Deliver opportunistic health promotion and cervical screening services.
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
- Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification.
- Training and experience as a HCA, working in Primary Care.
- Currently working in Primary Care (desirable).
