The University of Brighton is seeking to appoint a Manager of Apprenticeship Programs to ensure the successful operational growth and execution of the University's diverse range of higher and degree apprenticeship offerings. Reporting directly to the Head of Apprenticeships, this role includes the management of the Apprenticeships Team, utilizing outstanding collaborative skills and a strong background in apprenticeship funding regulations to create and uphold effective business processes while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

This dynamic position is situated within the Technical Education and Apprenticeships Hub, which is tasked with providing strategic leadership across the university for apprenticeships, Technical Education, including the development of Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), and fostering strategic partnerships with educational institutions.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A proven history of overseeing the delivery of apprenticeship programs, preferably within a higher education or further education setting.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the rapidly changing policy environment surrounding skills and technical education.
  • Experience in effectively managing staff operations in a complex, fast-paced setting, collaborating with both internal and external partners to achieve deadlines and key performance metrics.
