Key Responsibilities
  • Lead software lifecycle phases and acquisition, including BCAT and non-BCAT programs.
  • Exercise corporate leadership responsibility for interfacing with senior planners, including Chief Systems Engineers, Enterprise Test and Architecture, Contracting, and Acquisition.
  • Brief senior executives on a regular basis, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Assist with the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process.
  • Conduct high-visibility special assignments that require innovative solutions.
  • Make decisions or recommendations that significantly impact policies and programs.
  • Provide expert guidance on acquisition programs and processes.
  • Apply project management approaches, such as Agile software development methodologies, to manage and prioritize backlogs.
  • Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and refine backlogs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support projects that involve cloud-based solutions, commercial off-the-shelf software, and tracking tools.
Requirements
  • Expertise in software lifecycle phases and acquisition.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to brief senior executives and provide strategic guidance.
  • Experience with project management approaches, such as Agile.
  • Knowledge of acquisition programs and processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
