Geo-Environmental Engineer Role

At RSK Group, we are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team based in Pease Pottage, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of geo-environmental projects for both external clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in geo-environmental projects, including ground investigations and desk studies
  • Assist with soil logging, laboratory scheduling, and soil sampling
  • Conduct water monitoring and sampling
  • Write factual and interpretative reports
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and site investigation data
  • Travel to other offices and sites within the UK as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BSc or equivalent in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • MSc desirable but not essential
  • Working towards membership of a relevant professional body with a goal to move towards chartership
  • Basic knowledge of planning legislation
  • Experience in site inspections and reporting, preferably on residential developments
  • Able to complete factual and interpretative assessments to a basic level
  • Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
  • Track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
  • In possession of a full UK driving license
