About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition Team at Arriva Group. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying and attracting top talent to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage candidate applications and shortlist CVs for initial selection processes.
  • Conduct telephone screens to identify eligible and suitable candidates.
  • Invite successful candidates to interview/assessment, ensuring maximum attendance and pass rate.
  • Act as an advocate for our Employer Brand, engaging candidates in our opportunities.
  • Support the coordination and running of assessment days/recruitment events, as required.
  • Build talent pools through direct sourcing of candidates using online and offline channels.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for candidates applying to join the business, responding to queries and providing timely and accurate information.
  • Respond to speculative applications and convert them into interviews.
  • Ensure tracker and ATS data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manage all candidate communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional correspondence.
  • Refine and improve recruitment and system processes.
  • Provide reports on recruitment activity within your area or across the team, as required.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Recruitment KPI targets and SLAs.
  • Ensure all candidates receive a positive experience of Arriva Group.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity and record-keeping is compliant with employment legislation and Data Protection.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar recruitment role, dealing with high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience of working within a recruitment/HR environment or similar would be desirable.
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and professional written and verbal communication skills.
