Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group Systems Accountant to join our client's Accounting & Finance team in Oxford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Systems Management
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead the Accounting & Finance team in Oxford, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Financial Planning and Strategy
- Support the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, working closely with senior management.
- Advise on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
- External Relationships
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a successful audit process and maintain a positive working relationship.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a leadership position within the Accounting & Finance department.
- Expertise in financial systems and process management.
