Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Solutions Engineer to play a pivotal role in Europe's energy transition. As an Electrical Solutions Engineer, you will design solutions that steer the shift from conventional fossil fuels to renewable energy sources in industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Steer the various engineering disciplines for further detailing.
  • Engage in the engineering of energy solutions, with occasional site work required, both domestically and internationally.
  • Work within a close-knit team environment, frequently liaising with engineers, project managers, and bid managers to oversee projects from the specification phase right through to commissioning.
  • Leading the coordination between various disciplines, ensuring seamless collaboration and project success.
  • Overseeing the compliance of installations with stringent requirements, guaranteeing that solutions are not only effective but also adhere to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Power Electronics, or Sustainable Energy.
  • Knowledge of large electrical drive systems, encompassing HV-MV distribution, transformers, converters, harmonic filters, cooling systems, and electric motors.
  • An enthusiasm for or experience in fields such as electrification, energy generation and storage systems, automation, and digitalization.
  • A flexible and practical mindset, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Experience in tackling complex or composite problems, potentially complemented by digitalization.
  • Experience with installations exceeding 1000V.
  • Conducting network and fault current calculations.
  • Experience or a broad interest in related subsystems such as industrial automation, process equipment, and civil engineering.
