About the Role

As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Catering Team in providing healthy and inviting meals for our residents.

You will manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing and serving food, and understanding the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that our Catering Team complies with food hygiene standards, completes relevant checks, and maintains accurate records.

Additionally, you will lead and manage your Catering Team members, providing induction, training, and support as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including food preparation and service.
  2. Understand the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and develop suitable menus.
  3. Ensure that the Catering Team complies with food hygiene standards and completes relevant checks.
  4. Maintain accurate records and control stock and purchases within an allocated budget.
  5. Lead and manage the Catering Team, providing induction, training, and support as required.
Requirements
  1. A cook with a flair for creating delicious and nutritious meals for varied dietary requirements.
  2. Creative in menu development and food preparation.
  3. An excellent team player, able to coordinate, support, and motivate a team.
  4. Experienced in managing a catering budget.
  5. Adaptable and flexible.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
