Technical Manager - Audio Visual Production

Company Overview

Our client is a leading Audio Visual events production company that works with top events agencies to supply a range of audio, video, lighting, and streaming equipment for live and hybrid events.

The Role

The Technical Manager is the technical specialist who will support both the warehouse team and the freelance crew and Project Management team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Keeping abreast of new technology and equipment in the industry and researching/specifying this for purchase
  • Overseeing the prepping and testing of equipment by the warehouse team
  • Ensuring that the rental equipment is kept in order and updated to current standards

About You

Technical experience in working with audio visual equipment for live events and corporate events is a must-have within a rental company or production house. This is a warehouse-based role with some on-site travel to events if required. Experience in wider areas such as procurement of kit, cost saving for the business, and keeping the rental fleet up to date and compliant would be an added advantage.
