Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our Risk Management and Insurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all insurance covers across operational sites and construction projects, with a specific focus on offshore wind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Risk Management: Identify and analyze operational risks across our business, ensuring that we have adequate insurance coverage in place.
- Insurance Program Management: Design, procure, and manage insurance programs for our operational sites and construction projects, ensuring that we have the right coverage in place to mitigate risks.
- Claims Management: Lead the direction of insurance claims, ensuring that they are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with project teams to ensure that insurance requirements are met and that risks are properly managed.
- Insurance Law and Commercial Contracts: Manage insurance law and commercial contracts, ensuring that we have the right agreements in place to protect our business.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree educated or working towards a professional qualification in insurance, risk management, finance, law (construction or insurance), business, or engineering.
- Experience: Experience in a risk management environment or insurance markets, operating at management level, and a proven leader, experienced in managing complex end-to-end risk management projects.
- Skills: Commercially aware with broad experience of the commercial insurance market and end-to-end insurance lifecycle experience within a large global corporate setting.
- Communication: A confident communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, able to influence at senior stakeholder level.
