Job Summary:

Pioneering People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan to minimize equipment downtime and maximize production efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to production-line breakdowns and restore production operations efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe working environment and minimize machine downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed, ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Proactively support continuous improvement programs to enhance maintenance processes and improve overall performance.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is precisely documented on our maintenance system for full equipment history.
  • Complete work within agreed timescales and adhere to recognized codes and practices.
  • Participate in identifying and executing continuous improvement activities to improve performance.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years previous experience working as an engineer, ideally within a production environment.
  • Possess strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Have a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills, able to work effectively as part of a team.
