About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist care to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
- Develop and implement policies, protocols, and care pathways to ensure high-quality care.
- Support the delivery of occupational therapy student placements and ensure a positive learning experience.
- Conduct appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff to promote career growth and development.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and promote recovery and independence.
Requirements
- Occupational Therapy profession qualification.
- UK HCPC Registration.
- Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
- Ability to work with neurodiverse individuals and demonstrate effective clinical reasoning skills.
