Senior Technical Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Services Manager to lead our technical team at a large estate in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience working in a healthcare environment or large commercial estates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technical services managers, ensuring technical compliance and KPI's across the estate, and delivering a strong service to the customer in planned and reactive maintenance, as well as lifecycle works.
A key part of the role is ensuring the contract is not incurring financial penalties by being compliant and timely, providing a good customer experience, and maximizing P+L on the contract. In addition, the candidate will cultivate a positive and driven environment in which the technical team can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Management of 2 Technical Services Managers who will manage a 24/7 engineering provision, providing strategic staff guidance and management.
- Owning and managing the engineering processes on site, ensuring a high level of service and that works are done in line with KPI's and SLA's.
- Reporting and analysis of KPI's to identify improvements.
- Strategic management of the team, driving team culture as well as improvements of results and advancement of the estates.
- Working towards net zero targets, actively identifying opportunities to operate in a more energy-efficient manner to reduce carbon footprints and make the estate greener.
- Working closely with HTM's to understand the depths of the contract and ensure technical compliance on the site-specific kit (including HV/LV, UPS, CHP, water, pressure systems, heating, chilling, and refrigeration).
- Attend high-level meetings within the business and with the client.
- Working alongside the SHEQ Manager to ensure all technical and hard services actions are completed in line with H+S guidelines.
- Working alongside the contract compliance lead to ensure KPI reporting is accurate and in line with the contract.
- Mechanical or electrical background (time served).
- Experience working in a healthcare environment with a strong knowledge of HTM's is desirable or alternatively experience working on large complex commercial estates.
- PFI experience highly advantageous or experience of complex contracts/KPI's.
- Good people management skills.
- Strong strategic skills.
- Excellent communicator.
- Driving License.
- Positive and motivated attitude to create a culture of going the extra mile and continuous improvement in the team.
