Position Overview

Parker Shaw is seeking a Security Cleared Oracle APEX Middleware Engineer to provide essential support for the incremental scope and maintenance of four Oracle APEX instances hosted in Azure.

This Oracle APEX service requires comprehensive maintenance support, encompassing both production and break-fix assistance.

Key Skills Required: Middleware technologies (WebLogic), web server management, Oracle APEX expertise, SQL, PL/SQL proficiency, and more.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Deliver L1 to L3 support levels.
  • Manage middleware support for Oracle Fusion, including WebLogic and web server technologies.
  • Assist with Oracle APEX and Fusion-related inquiries.
  • Offer FAQ support to users.
  • Update the knowledge base with new incident information.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting for incidents, including integration issues and error simulations.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis for incidents.
  • Carry out routine maintenance by implementing updates for preventive and corrective tasks.
  • Monitor application KPIs to identify events that may disrupt business operations, utilizing existing tools and processes.
  • Provide break-fix support to resolve L3 incidents, minimizing application downtime.
  • Replicate incidents in non-production environments.
  • Analyze application code and configurations to pinpoint errors leading to incidents.
  • Identify, implement, and test fixes for identified errors.
  • Follow established processes for implementing emergency fixes in production environments.
