Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Generators and Compressors

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Leicester and Coventry area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our generators and compressors, ranging from 10kVA to 500kVA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer sites to perform planned service maintenance and repair of compressors and generators
  • Fault-finding, replacing parts, and effecting repairs
  • Liaise with external departments and customers
  • Service, fault-find, and carry out breakdown repairs
  • Comply with company Health and Safety policy

Requirements:
  • Full driving licence
  • Good knowledge of diesel engines
  • Mechanically experienced in fault-finding, replacing parts, and effecting repairs
  • Experience of maintaining and repairing the same or similar types of equipment
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to hours as there is consistent overtime
