Project Officer - Cornwall

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to join our team in Cornwall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting and enabling active travel in the local community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us to develop and deliver a countywide Workplace Travel Challenge, in partnership with Cornwall Council, public transport providers, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for innovating, developing, and delivering tailor-made packages of activities and promotional material to encourage and enable active travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a countywide Workplace Travel Challenge, in partnership with Cornwall Council, public transport providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Innovate, develop, and deliver tailor-made packages of activities and promotional material to encourage and enable active travel.
  • Work closely with Cornwall Council, public transport providers, and other stakeholders to support the development and delivery of the Workplace Travel Challenge.
  • Travel across the Cornwall region to undertake project work, as necessary.
  • Build relationships with a wide range of organisations, groups, and individuals to promote and enable active travel.
Requirements
  • Experience in building relationships with a wide range of organisations, groups, and individuals, ideally in physical activity or behavioural change projects.
  • Skilled communicator, able to adapt approach to engage and meet the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Experience of planning and delivering engagement activities and promotional events.
  • Passionate about active travel and supporting and motivating others to make positive changes to everyday journeys.
