About the Role

Azenta Life Sciences is a leading provider of robotic compound management and biological sample storage systems. As a System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the development lifecycle to deliver cutting-edge scientific applications and integrated platforms for biological sample and clinical intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Coordinate and integrate engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Refrigeration.
  • Communicate and transition projects with Commissioning and Service teams.
  • Interface with planning and procurement teams.
  • Provide technical liaison during projects, serving as the main technical contact.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a degree in Controls Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software engineering with system-level experience. Alternatively, a Validation engineer with a high degree of machinery/engineering experience is also suitable.

Key skills include:

  • Project planning using Microsoft Project.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PPT and Visio.
  • Experience with 3D CAD or AutoLab.
