System Engineer

Azenta Life Sciences is the leading provider of robotic compound management and biological sample storage systems worldwide.

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to manage the development lifecycle and provide automated robotic sample storage systems that deliver cutting-edge scientific applications and integrated platforms for biological sample and clinical intelligence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for determining system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and integrating engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Refrigeration
  • Communicating and transitioning projects with Commissioning and Service teams
  • Interfacing with planning and procurement teams
  • Providing technical liaison support to customers during projects

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Controls Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software engineering with system-level experience
  • Project planning skills using Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PPT and Visio
  • Experience with 3D CAD or AutoLab
