**Job Title:** Principle Network Compliance Officer - ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Principle Network Compliance Officer to join our team at ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various Acts and Regulations related to Network Management, including the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, and Highways Act 1980.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular highways site visits to ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act, Traffic Management Act, and Road Traffic Regulation Act.
  • Risk assess all defects found and prioritize repairs, ensuring that any CDM issues are highlighted.
  • Identify, register, issue, and maintain records of repairs necessary to maintain the Public Highway.
  • Enforce compliance with the NRSWA, LoPS, and TMA, including the issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices.
  • Ensure Section 74 Charge compliance, Section 72 reinstatement defect compliance, and Section 50 planning compliance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 supervisor's qualification (City & Guilds Units 1 to 16).
  • Expert knowledge of Traffic Management Act 2004, New Roads & Street Works Act 1991, and LoPS.
  • Experience in highway inspection and/or maintenance.
