To provide expert advice on housing options, training, and employment to individuals threatened with homelessness or living in private rent accommodation.

To respond effectively to prevent homelessness through advice, negotiation, mediation, or conciliation, and promote a housing options approach to service delivery.

To manage a caseload, maintain accurate records, and meet individual and service performance targets.

To maintain and develop extensive knowledge of housing options, homelessness law, and related fields.

To deliver advice from drop-in services and attend outreach sessions as required.

To ensure effective referrals to partner service providers and make recommendations regarding the award of additional preference points.

Requirements

Good knowledge of homelessness prevention and public and private sector options.

Experience working with councils and housing associations is essential.

Ability to manage a varied caseload including landlord/tenant, mortgage arrears, and welfare rights.

Contract Details

Initial 3 to 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend.

PAYE via Umbrella.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Hybrid position).
