About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Team Leader to join our team at the National Trust. As a key member of our retail operations, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail staff to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day management of the property retail operation to ensure commercial success and exceed visitor expectations.
  • Monitor stock and merchandise products to achieve stretching financial targets, leading by example in maximizing profitability and income.
  • Supervise paid and voluntary retail staff, working effectively with colleagues to deliver great service to visitors and promote the property's sense of place.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, able to lead, support, and develop a team. You should be well-organized, adaptable, and confident in dealing with a variety of situations, including complaints.
