Conveyancing Paralegal Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team at Page Personnel Finance in Perth. As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Conveyancing team with a large caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and Preparation: Drafting legal documents, including contracts and agreements, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Caseload Management: Assisting with the management of a large caseload, including coordinating with solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage brokers.
- Case Management Software: Utilizing case management software to track and manage files, and familiarity with conveyancing case management systems is desirable.
- Property Searches: Dealing with ordering routine property searches, and completing all relevant paperwork.
- Post-Completion Matters: Dealing with post-completion and exchange of contract matters, including creating and amending property-related documentation.
- Correspondence: Producing routine correspondence, and liaising with solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage brokers.
- Client Communication: Taking instructions from solicitors for sale and purchase files, and liaising with clients.
- Support to Senior Conveyancer: Supporting the senior Conveyancer with their Conveyancing caseload, including carrying out property searches, and updating the case management system.
Requirements
- Conveyancing Knowledge: Working knowledge of Conveyancing, and knowledge of conveyancing or finance legal practice is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise openly and clearly with colleagues and clients.
- Legal Environment Experience: Experience of working in a legal environment, and a commitment to personal development.
- Computer Skills: Working knowledge of computers and software, with good keyboard skills.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to produce a high standard of work, sometimes under pressure, while maintaining accuracy and good attention to detail.
- Client Enquiries: Practical experience of handling client enquiries both face-to-face and by telephone.
- Legal Secretary or Assistant Experience: Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal.
