Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Registered General Nurses (RGNs) for contract roles within a correctional facility setting. This opportunity is ideal for those located in the YORK area.

Experience Requirements:
While prior experience in a prison environment is preferred, it is not mandatory. We welcome applications from qualified RGN's who possess transferable skills.

Vetting and Clearance:
Prison clearance can be facilitated for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
As a prison nurse, your duties will encompass:
  • Emergency response care
  • Administration of medications, including injections
  • Conducting daily assessments and examinations of patients

Work Schedule:
Shifts range from 3 to 6 days per week.
Available Days:
Monday to Friday (with optional weekend shifts)

Contract Duration:
3 months with potential for extension

Band Level:
5

Compensation:
Hourly rate between £28 and £33.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be qualified and registered with the NMC.
