Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Glastonbury. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing contract costs from inception to completion, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans
- Managing procurement processes, including tender preparation and evaluation, monitoring and controlling project finances, managing variations and preparing detailed financial reports
- Conducting risk, value management, and cost control exercises
- Negotiating and managing contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, meeting compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Possess knowledge of construction processes, contract law, and industry regulations, can demonstrate a proven track record in cost planning, budget management, and financial reporting
- Bring excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, along with being detail orientated with sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
