Quantity Surveyor

We're seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Transportation team in Glastonbury. As a key member of our Commercial team, you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing contract costs from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans
- Manage procurement processes, including tender preparation and evaluation, monitoring and controlling project finances, managing variations, and preparing detailed financial reports
- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control exercises
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, meeting compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Knowledge of construction processes, contract law, and industry regulations, with a proven track record in cost planning, budget management, and financial reporting
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, along with being detail-oriented with sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
