Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intervention Specialist to join our team at Colmore Education Recruitment Ltd. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in KS1 and KS2 in schools across Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality intervention programs to small groups of students, focusing on Phonics, maths, and other subjects as needed.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless integration of intervention programs into the school's curriculum.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, teachers, and school administrators to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and assessments to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in intervention and education, attending training and professional development opportunities as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience working in education, preferably in a similar role.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality intervention programs and making a positive impact on student outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and school administrators.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or a related field.
