About the Role
The Durham University Faculty of Business is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as the Executive Dean, providing academic leadership, advocacy, and management to deliver against our strategic ambitions. As a key member of the University's senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring a culture of excellence and high performance across the Faculty, further strengthening its international standing and profile locally, domestically, and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Faculty's research reputation and profile, identifying opportunities for development of the academic and innovation portfolio.
- Engage with external partners and organizations to foster opportunities for the Faculty and our students, promoting the University's values, aims, and objectives.
- Lead on the further establishment of the Waterside hub as a hub for impact within the region and beyond, working innovatively to enhance the international reputation of the Faculty.
- Champion the University's commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and respect, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
