About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bank Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Duchy Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of operating theatres and equipment.
- Provide clinical support to surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures.
- Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during surgery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and theatre efficiency.
Requirements
- ODP level 3 qualification.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards and guidelines.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Sound computer skills and knowledge.
- A registered member with the HCP.
