Senior Financial Accountant - IFRS 17 Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Ki Financial Operations and Ledgers team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of Ki's quarterly and annual IFRS 17 results and submission to the Group alongside wider stakeholders.

About the Role:

This is a key role within our Finance team, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to demonstrate their strong technical knowledge and practical experience in applying International Financial Reporting Standards and UK GAAP. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IFRS 17, advanced numeric and analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production of Ki's quarterly and annual IFRS 17 results
  2. Submission of results to the Group alongside wider stakeholders
  3. Embedding processes to ensure the team meets its deliverables
  4. Collaboration with the team to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Experience working within insurance
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in applying International Financial Reporting Standards and UK GAAP
  • Expertise in IFRS 17
  • Advanced numeric and analytical skills
  • Keen attention to detail
