About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting learners with complex needs, providing individualized support and promoting their social, emotional, and behavioural development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting learners with complex needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Providing individualized support to promote learners' social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation, including adapting materials to meet the needs of learners with complex needs
  • Providing feedback and guidance to learners, promoting self-esteem and confidence
Requirements
  • GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Relevant teaching assistant, care or childcare experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
