About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across various primary schools in Lewes. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work, allowing you to gain experience in different educational settings while making a real difference to the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Support students individually or in small groups.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage behaviour and ensure all students are engaged and focused.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and build relationships with students and staff.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
