Job Summary

MBA is seeking an experienced Agricultural Loss Adjuster to join our field-based UK team. As an Agricultural Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of insurance claims from leading UK and International rural and agricultural sector insurers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a mixed portfolio of agricultural claims from inception to closure
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations to establish cause of damage or extent of loss and cover, setting a strategy with the customer for case conclusion
  • Work collaboratively with the internal team to understand and prioritize what matters to the customer, ensuring quality visits take place by undertaking value-added preparation
  • Continuously review claim activity to identify potential blockages and reduce failure demand
  • Take sole responsibility for every claim personally handled, enhancing the customer journey by ensuring all parties are kept informed and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to build on end-to-end flow
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, brokers, agents, and suppliers to ensure seamless claims handling service
  • Represent the company as the customer-facing representative, upholding their ethics and values

Requirements

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Loss adjusting background with experience handling large caseloads and losses up to and in excess of £100K
  • Ideal possession of an insurance qualification (ACII or ACILA), but essential to show commitment to study and gain knowledge
