Position: Field Service Engineer

Join the dynamic team at Global Recruitment Group as a Field Service Engineer, where your expertise will contribute to the remarkable advancements in Robotic Automation.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the company's ongoing success by responding to customer service requests, conducting regular maintenance, and collaborating with fellow engineers on equipment installations.


Compensation:
£25,000.00-£50,000.00 annually (commensurate with experience) plus additional earnings for on-call duties.

As a proactive problem solver, you will work independently while coordinating with the Field Operations Manager to effectively manage your schedule.

In this role, you will operate from our Bellshill office and travel to client locations as necessary to install, maintain, and repair equipment.

Comprehensive training on our products will be provided, along with further specialized training as required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, install, and support our advanced products
  • Deliver exceptional client service
  • Participate in out-of-hours support as part of an on-call rotation
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications
  • Provide timely updates on project status to the Field Operations Manager
  • Complete and submit necessary documentation, including risk assessments and work reports

Qualifications:
  • Formal engineering qualification or HNC/HND level education, or 2 years of field service experience
  • Experience in electrical installation (18th Edition qualification preferred); PASMA and IPAF certifications are a plus
  • Adaptability with tools and strong computer skills
  • Logical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Strong time management capabilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer experiences
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and occasionally internationally
