Field Service Engineer

As part of our client's ongoing success with Robotic Automation, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join their innovative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in boosting the company's continued growth and will be a vital member of staff who will attend customer call outs, perform routine servicing, and collaborate with other Field Engineers on installations.

Based out of the Bellshill office, the Field Service Engineer will attend clients' sites as required to install, service, and repair their equipment. Comprehensive training on the products will be provided, as well as further manufacturer-specific training, as necessary.

Daily Duties of the Field Service Engineer:
  1. Primary responsibilities include the build, installation, and support of our products.
  2. Ensure high levels of client service and satisfaction.
  3. Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support calls.
  4. Maintain a professional image at all times, whether by telephone, in writing, or in person.
  5. Timely reporting to the Field Operations Manager on progress or delays.
  6. Complete and submit risk assessments, work reports, activity reports, site tasks, and all other documentation as required.
Requirements:
  1. A formal engineering qualification or HNC/HND level education or 2 years field service experience.
  2. Experience of electrical installation (Qualified with 18th Edition would be an advantage). PASMA and IPAF would also be desirable.
  3. Adaptable on your tools and strong computer literacy.
  4. Enjoy delivering a great customer experience.
  5. Willing to travel the UK and on occasion internationally.
