Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Gardener/Driver. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of over 100 parks and open spaces in Enfield.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain playgrounds, countryside areas, and sports pitches to a high standard
* Complete physical tasks and grounds maintenance as instructed
* Operate basic horticultural machinery
* Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
* Drive and operate a transit tipper (up to 3.5 tonnes)
* Work independently or within a team in various weather conditions
* Provide excellent customer care and deal with the public when required

Requirements

* Previous experience in grounds maintenance is desirable
* Basic horticultural machinery knowledge is essential
* Understanding of Health & Safety is essential
* Driving licence allowing up to 3.5 tonne is essential
* Ability to take and understand clear instructions is essential
* Ability to work in all weather conditions is essential
* Ability to complete physical tasks unsupervised is essential
* Customer care experience / dealing with public is desirable
