About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our team in Beverley, responsible for ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements, managing logistics operations, and coordinating routes with company drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Operator License, H&S, service quality, drivers' hours, and tacho regulations
  • Manage logistics operations, including fleet maintenance and 'O' License requirements
  • Support new business initiatives and projects, contributing to review meetings and change process
  • Establish and maintain communication networks with national, international, and local logistics providers
  • Manage and coordinate routes with company drivers
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure coherence
  • Manage Pallet-Networks and Sub-Contractors, negotiating rates when required

Requirements

  • Background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
  • Ability to use own initiative and propose improvements
  • Qualification in Logistics and/or experience in similar role
  • Proven experience of operating in fast-paced high-volume work environment
  • CPC Essential
