About the Role
The Research Department of Behavioural Science and Health is dedicated to exploring the intricate relationship between human behavior and health outcomes. This role will be integral to the successful operation of trials and cohorts within the Research into Eating, ACtivity and Health (UCL REACH) team, led by Professor Fisher and Dr. Clare Llewellyn.
As a Research Fellow, you will play a pivotal role in developing a novel dietary behavior change intervention specifically designed for adolescents. Your responsibilities will encompass collecting and managing cohort data to further our understanding of the impact of ultra-processed food on health. You will also contribute to the writing of manuscripts and grant proposals.
About You
We seek a highly motivated individual with an MSc and PhD in a relevant field (PhD submission or nearing completion). You should possess experience in developing behavioral interventions, conducting mixed-methods research (including patient and public involvement and engagement), quantitative methods, and qualitative research. A strong foundation in nutritional epidemiology – the dietary determinants of health, particularly with an interest in ultra-processed food – is essential.
