UK Design Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled UK Design Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our engineering design team, you will report to the Head of Engineering Design & Environment and be responsible for delivering engineering design, systems expertise, and design authority to support the growth and transformation of our depot network.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work closely with the Head of Engineering, Design & Environment, and Regional Engineering Managers to ensure the delivery of build plans, key metrics, and facilities management assets that meet business requirements.

As a UK Design Manager, you will be instrumental in the design and delivery of facilities management assets, ensuring they meet colleague, legal, and reliability perspectives. Your collaboration and communication skills will be essential in enabling the preparation, approval, and execution of capital projects following PM processes.

This role is perfect for a highly motivated individual with a significant previous experience within FMCG/construction or an industrial environment, working on projects from concept to delivery. You will be proficient in AutoCAD and have a good level of understanding of Health and Safety, Fire Strategy, and Building Regulations within construction.
