European Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable European sales consultant to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our European travel packages to clients, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and country tourist boards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selling European travel packages to clients via various channels
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and country tourist boards
  • Producing and pricing itineraries for clients
  • Generating bookings from new customers and maximizing retention of existing customers
  • Achieving and exceeding pre-set sales targets
  • Overseeing the production of documentation for clients and ensuring welcome home packs are sent prior to their return
  • Contacting clients on return to thank them for booking and obtain feedback
  • Expanding and developing existing product offerings
  • Researching and updating destinations, activities, and hotel information
  • Participating in product and pricing planning processes and assisting with supplier contract negotiations
  • Attending team meetings and company events
Requirements:
  • Passion for and demonstrable knowledge of European destinations
  • Experience in a European travel sales role is beneficial but not required
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality results in a timely fashion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
  • Salary £30,000 - £35,000 + Commission
  • 23 days annual leave, increasing one day per full year of service up to 30 days
