Credit Policy Specialist

Centre People Appointments is seeking a highly skilled AVP Credit Policy & Governance professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of our Governance team.
Main Responsibilities:- Produce and manage reports, including EMEA KRI, CD KPI, and Management Information reports.
- Provide practical solutions to staff on applying the bank's credit policy and rules in day-to-day business.
- Conduct root cause analyses and recommend improvements to the bank's rule, procedure, and IT system.
- Manage system change projects to fix or improve TMS, DDT, SC database, GBR, EIC, and Credit Application Tracking system.
- Ensure adequate written policies and procedures are in place with appropriate governance.
- Take ownership of timely remediation of findings and work with Operation Management function to ensure issues are resolved.
- Provide training to risk functions on the bank's Credit Risk Management Framework.
- Good understanding of Credit Risk Policy, Rules, and Procedures.
- Relevant experience in the financial industry with a mature operational risk process.
- Excellent team worker with communication skills.
- Excellent track record of implementing business change and/or IT system projects.
- Business-level fluency in English and Japanese.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in using big data on Excel, Access, and/or RDB.
