Job Title: Collection Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collection Officer to join our team at Brook Street. As a Collection Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely collection of payments and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deputize for Team Leaders as needed and provide administrative support to the team
• Supervise post opening and floor walking duties
• Allocate workload to team members and ensure efficient workflow
• Process payments, receipts, and correspondence related to fixed penalties and other offenses
• Monitor and update suspended cases from computer reports
• Process refunds, cheques, and payments as authorized
• Input, locate, and retrieve data from computer systems and prepare relevant documents
• Check, validate, and amend computer-held data
• Deal effectively with public inquiries and liaise with external stakeholders
• Perform a range of general office duties, including answering phones, handling mail, and basic stock control

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in computer software and hardware
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
