Job Title: Collection Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collection Officer to join our team at Brook Street. As a Collection Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely collection of payments and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputize for Team Leaders as needed and provide administrative support to the team
- Supervise post opening and floor walking duties
- Allocate workload to team members and ensure efficient workflow
- Process payments, receipts, and correspondence related to fixed penalties and other offenses
- Monitor and update suspended cases from computer reports
- Process refunds, cheques, and payments as authorized
- Input, locate, and retrieve data from computer systems and prepare relevant documents
- Check, validate, and amend computer-held data
- Deal effectively with public inquiries and liaise with external stakeholders
- Perform a range of general office duties, including answering phones, handling mail, and basic stock control
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in computer software and hardware
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
