Job Title: Collection Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collection Officer to join our team at Brook Street. As a Collection Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deputize for Team Leaders as needed and provide administrative support to the team
• Supervise post opening and floor walking duties
• Allocate workload to team members and ensure efficient task management
• Process payments, receipts, and correspondence related to fixed penalties and other financial transactions
• Monitor and update suspended cases and maintain accurate records
• Deal with public inquiries and liaise with external stakeholders, including the DVLA and Police Forces
• Perform a range of general office duties, including answering phones, handling mail, and using computer software and hardware

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications
