About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage and Protection Broker to join our team at Your Mortgage Recruiter Ltd. As a leading specialist recruiter in Mortgage Advice, Support, Underwriting, Compliance, and BDM roles, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and candidates.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mortgage and protection advice to high net worth individuals, business owners, and companies. You will work closely with our in-house administration team to manage cases from start to finish, ensuring seamless communication with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mortgage and protection advice to high net worth individuals, business owners, and companies.
  • Work closely with our in-house administration team to manage cases from start to finish.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless case progression.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, generating new business opportunities and referrals.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our team, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive excellence in mortgage and protection advice.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage advising, preferably within the independent market.
  • Full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) and a strong understanding of mortgage regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Desirable: experience with high net worth or complex mortgage cases, private banks, and specialist mortgage lenders.
What We Offer
  • A competitive starting basic salary of circa £40,000, negotiable based on skill-set, ability, and role experience.
  • Commission leading to an annual OTE of £100,000+.
  • 25 days annual leave per annum (plus bank holidays) and a pension scheme.
