About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Marketing Manager to join our team at Berkmann Wine Cellars. As a leading wine importer in the UK, we pride ourselves on our expertise and passion for premium wines from around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual trade marketing plans to drive sales and gross profit across our key agency wines.
  • Manage channel marketing and key customer marketing, using relevant insights and industry-specific data to inform our strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute marketing initiatives for new pitches and trade events, such as the Annual Portfolio Tasting.
  • Work closely with our winery partners to develop and deliver effective activations and promotions on our wine brands.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform marketing decisions and optimize our trade marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Trade marketing experience, preferably within the drinks industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commercial acumen and numerical understanding, with the ability to analyze data and inform marketing decisions.
  • WSET level 2 qualification or higher.
  • Passion for wine and a deep understanding of the wine industry.

  • Salary range £40k-£50k, dependent on experience.

Working Pattern:

This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:30pm), with flexibility to work from home and attend office meetings as needed.
