Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Freelance Video Producer to join our talent pool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for finding and selecting stories, producing high-quality videos, and overseeing the creative workflow. Your expertise will help us deliver engaging social-change projects around the world.
Key Responsibilities- Provide editorial and journalistic oversight of projects, ensuring work meets our editorial guidelines and ethical standards.
- Manage the creative workflow and oversee the work of the project's creative team.
- Find and select journalistic stories, commission and edit long-form written content from partners, and come up with creative ideas for videos and social content.
- Oversee the work of designers, animators, editors, and social content producers, and write powerful treatments that bring ideas to life.
- Take ownership of schedules for your projects, ensure assets are delivered to a high quality and on time, and participate in internal and client reviews.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms.
- Several years' experience in a journalistic role, ideally with editorial oversight of others.
- Several years' experience in video production, with numerous scripting, producing, and editing producer credits.
- Proficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
